unit of 14 gauge tempered steel 510 coil count springs (there are 260 coils
in this mattress) and cover it with our
quilted outer which is a layer of thin organic cotton fabric, a thick layer
of organic cotton batting, a thick layer of organically processed wool from
organically raised happy sheep (see our story), and a layer of our premium
European organic cotton fabric all quilted together to prevent shifting.
This provides a 6" strong, supportive mattress with a nice even top for
safety. We even use organic cotton quilted with wool on the sides to prevent
moisture. Our mattress exceeds all the higher CA flame retardancy guidelines
without a single chemical for your peace of mind. Fits all standard Cribs

Organics!!! The best thing in comfort and safety for your baby. We take 3
layers (1super firm, 1 firm and 1 soft) and place them inside our zip off
cover of organic cotton and wool for natural flame retardancy. We even
protect the sides from moisture with a layer of our wool quilted on the
sides as well. This combination allows you to use the firmest side for your
newborn and as your baby grows you can switch it to a softer, more
comfortable mattress by simply rearranging the plates of natural rubber. The
cover can be completely hand washed if needed. As with all our mattresses,
we recommend our organic wool moisture pad to protect your mattress.
